How to download

    Copy the link to the video you want to download.

Save an Instagram Reel

Open the Reel or video post, use its share menu to copy the link, and paste it above. Choose a format and click Get download, then Save file. You do not need to give Dropclip your Instagram password.

Supported Instagram posts

Dropclip accepts public Reel and video post links, including /reel/ and /p/ URLs. It handles one video per request. Profile pages, photo downloads, private posts and Stories are not supported.

Why the saved quality can vary

Instagram provides different versions of a video. Dropclip selects the closest available quality and preserves MP4-compatible video without re-encoding it. Some newer video codecs require a compatible player.

Missing audio or unavailable posts

MP3 needs an audio track. A silent post cannot produce MP3, and Instagram may not provide licensed music with a download. Removed posts, private accounts and platform access restrictions can prevent a download.

Download limits

Dropclip is free to use. Files are limited to 500 MB and videos to one hour. Files are temporary, so save them when ready. Only download content you own or are entitled to save. Read the permitted use guidelines.
